Glenn E. Lerman has over 20 years of experience as a litigation attorney. Since 2000, Mr. Lerman has been a partner at Lerman & Pointer LLP. From 1996 to 2000, he ran his own practice where he developed and managed a diverse case load for clients ranging from large corporations to individuals and business owners. Glenn E. Lerman began his legal career at a preeminent full service law firm in Los Angeles.
Representative Matters
Mr. Lerman enjoys a broad commercial litigation practice with an emphasis in employment law matters. He has conducted numerous trials, arbitrations, mediations and administrative hearings. Mr. Lerman represents clients through trial in state and federal courts, and before numerous public agencies, including the California Labor Commissioner's Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the federal Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Mr. Lerman counsels employers on day-to-day issues ranging from hiring, discipline and firing, to compliance, training and pre-litigation advice. Mr. Lerman has particular expertise in the negotiation of severance/separation packages at all levels.
Mr. Lerman is also an experienced mediator. In 2007, Mr. Lerman formed a private mediation practice, Lerman Mediation, which focuses primarily on employment law matters. He is also a mediator on the mediation panels of the Los Angeles Superior Court and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Mr. Lerman is admitted to practice before all California courts and federal courts in the Central District of California. Mr. Lerman is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
